Release of a revised National Competitive Grants Program Scheme Calendar for 2024–25

The ARC is pleased to publish a new and more informative NCGP Scheme Calendar, which has been developed in consultation with senior research administrators in Australian Universities.

The 2024–25 NCGP Scheme Calendar takes into account the legal requirements of the amended Australian Research Council Act, which commences on 1 July 2024. 

In updating the new calendar, the ARC has worked with stakeholders to optimise the timing of schemes, with the aim of easing the burden of peak periods for applicants, research administrators and peer reviewers. 

The ARC will work to ensure that any changes in scheme timing do not disadvantage applicants, including eligibility.
