Launch of the ARC Training Centre in Predictive Breeding for Agricultural Futures
The ARC was pleased to attend the launch of the ARC Training Centre in Predictive Breeding for Agricultural Futures at The University of Queensland.
To address worldwide population growth, the Training Centre is working with the agriculture sector to research ways of producing more food at a lower cost by advancing farming practices, ultimately contributing to global food security.
The Centre is also training new industry-ready plant and animal scientists to improve environmental outcomes, secure economic sustainability, and ensure Australia is well-resourced into the future.
