Australian Research Council CEO steps down

 

Today, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Australian Research Council (ARC), Ms Judi Zielke PSM has announced she will be stepping down from the role due to a health issue. 

Under Ms Zielke’s leadership, the ARC established a clear pathway forward to continue to build and grow the ARC and its ongoing role in improving Australia’s research landscape. In particular, the increase in transparency and engagement has helped to build the relationship with the research sector and improved our outcomes.

Ms Zielke’s last day will be Friday, 8 December 2023.

Dr Richard Johnson will be Acting CEO until a permanent appointment is made.
