ANZSRC Review
The Australian and New Zealand Standard Research Classification (ANZSRC) is a set of three related classifications developed to support the measurement and analysis of research and experimental development (R&D) statistics. The three classifications are:
- Type of Activity (ToA);
- Fields of Research (FoR); and
- Socio-Economic Objectives (SEO).
In 2019 – 2020, the ARC, Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Stats NZ, and the New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) jointly reviewed the ANZSRC.
Details of the review are set out in the outcomes paper (PDF Format – Word Format). If you have more questions after reading the outcome paper, please email us.
