Launch of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav)

ARC Acting CEO Dr Richard Johnson was delighted to attend the official launch of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery (OzGrav) at Swinburne University of Technology.

The research conducted at the OzGrav Centre will generate new discoveries in basic science that position Australia as a leader in developing gravitational wave mega science instruments. 

The Centre has a strong education and outreach focus and is developing creative ways for young Australians to engage with fundamental physics and astronomy, inspiring the next generation of scientists.
