Launch of the ARC Training Centre for Advanced Building Systems Against Airborne Infection Transmission (THRIVE)
The ARC visited the ARC Training Centre for Advanced Building Systems Against Airborne Infection Transmission (THRIVE) at Queensland University of Technology for its official launch by Senator the Hon Anthony Chisholm, Assistant Minister for Education.
Breathing new life into air quality research, the Training Centre is designing innovative building systems to reduce the transmission of airborne infections indoors while retaining minimal energy consumption.
The Centre will support national and international manufacturing industries through its research, and develop a program in collaboration with scientists and industry partners that advances training and professional development in the systems that will ensure clean indoor air for the future.
