ARC/NHMRC Research Administrators Seminar in association with ARMS

The Australian Research Council (ARC) and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), in association with the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS), will hold the ARC/NHMRC Research Administrators Seminar on 12-13 December 2023 in Canberra.

The Research Administrators Seminar is an opportunity for research administrators to hear about the latest news and developments from the ARC and NHMRC, to network with staff from both agencies.

With support from ARMS, the event is also an opportunity for research administrators to network with each other.

Please inform your research office staff to seek interest in attending this event.

ARC Day
Date: 12 December 2023
Time: 8.30am for 9.00am start and concluding 4.45pm
Venue: Great Room, The Canberra Rex Hotel, 150 Northbourne Avenue, Braddon ACT 2612
Face to face attendee limit: up to 165 research administrators

ARMS Networking event
Date: 12 December 2023
Time: 5.15pm to 6.30pm
Venue: Grand Ballroom, The Canberra Rex Hotel, 150 Northbourne Avenue, Braddon ACT 2612
Face to face attendee limit: up 150 people including ARC, NHMRC and ARMS staff 

NHMRC Day
Date: 13 December 2023
Time: 8.45am for 9.00am start and concluding 3.00pm
Venue: Level 1, NHMRC Offices, 16 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra ACT 2601
Face to face attendee limit: up to 165 research administrators  

Please note, there will be a cap on in-person attendance. The ARC and NHMRC will consider the need of equitable numbers of university and Medical Research Institutes representation in confirming in-person attendees.
For those who are unable to travel, or unable to attend in person due to attendee limits, we will offer virtual attendance.
