Streamlining the Higher Education Research Data Collection

In line with the ARC Strategy 2022-2025, the ARC has partnered with the Department of Education, to reduce administrative burden for universities.

New functionality built into the ARC’s System to Evaluate Excellence of Research (SEER) platform, combines R&D income collections into one streamlined compendium.

Universities will no longer have to submit paper-based approvals as this will now be facilitated through a systematic, permissions-based system.

The ARC and the department have worked together to consolidate the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) for data submission to the SEER platform.

The ARC has built functionality into the existing SEER platform to allow both the ARC and the department to meet their respective requirements.
