Launch of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC)

The ARC was pleased to launch the ARC Centre of Excellence in Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC) at the University of Queensland.

QUBIC aims to change the way the bioscience and biotech sectors work on a quantum level, by being a world-leading developer of new applications for quantum technology in Australian industry, from healthcare to agriculture and energy.

The Centre of Excellence is driving research into the fundamental understanding and applications of quantum physics across a diverse range of fields including biomedical imaging, chemical design and clean energy, while building the scientific and innovation community needed to translate these advances into socioeconomic benefits.
