Launch Of The ARC Training Centre for Environmental and Agricultural Solutions to Antimicrobial Resistance (ARC CEA StAR)

The ARC was pleased to launch the ARC Training Centre for Environmental and Agricultural Solutions to Antimicrobial Resistance (ARC CEA StAR) at the University of Queensland.

ARC CEA StAR aims to develop antimicrobial resistance (AMR) solutions alongside industry partners, and train the next generation of researchers in techniques to combats the effects of AMR on the environment and the agriculture sector.

The Centre’s collaborative program will produce a large cohort of researchers capable of working with industry to tackle the unique challenge that antimicrobial resistance presents, particularly the global health and economic issues found at the intersection of people, plants and animals, and their shared environment.
